FloraHolland

The Netherlands is the world’s largest producer of cut flowers and potted plants, accounts for more than half of the world’s trade in such products and is the gateway to Europe. The European import of cut lowers passes for than 2/3 through the Netherlands. This position is partially the result of the unique teamwork of producers, exporters and auctions.
FloraHolland is a cooperative sales organization owned by around 6000 growers, with five auction locations, 26 auction clocks, Intermediary Offices handling (direct) sales and 3000 employees.
FloraHolland is the international market leader when it comes to the ornamental flower and plant trade and has an annual sales of around EUR 2,3 billion.
