Roseraies Orard

Pierre-Joseph ORARD founded his rose nursery in 1930 in FEYZIN, about 12 kilometres south from LYON, France. Lyon, second-sized French city, is also known as one of the historical cradle of the garden roses in Western Europe. The family business is now run by Jean-Charles and Pierre ORARD, Pierre-Joseph's grandsons. Since the early years, the ORARD family has always had two closely related activities: on one hand the cultivation of garden roses, now sold either bare-rooted or grown in containers, and on the other hand, the creation of new varieties. Over the past 15 years, the ORARD brothers have progressively built a network of agents who test and introduce their varieties throughout the world: USA, Australia, South-Africa, New-Zealand.
